I know I would love the seats, but since this would be a daily, my main concern would be passenger ingress/egress. I think each person’s uses are going to be different and have different considerations.

I agree that each persons uses are going to be different. But they look so damn good. I thought about getting the regular seats but this won’t be my daily. |

At 6'7" id think he would have an awkward entry/exit with standard seats too. Hes a big boy.

Notice at 5:20 he quickly shut the door so we don't see the damage he caused to the CF buckets!

After seeing this 6’7” dude do it, at just 5’5” I think I’ll be just fine getting these seats

I'm 2" shorter and smaller in diameter, but my legs are longer. That guy was very tall from the waist up and my height is mostly in my legs. I don't think I could get in and out. I am concerned about the regular seats as well. The G20 and G80 specs say legroom is 0.4" less than my F30. I barely fit in that. I certainly won't order a car until I can try both kinds of seats

Guys guys guys. Listen. This guy is 6 foot 7 and well above the weight he should be at that height. He is huuuuge. He is towering over the car.
You cannot use him as any example of how the avg heighted-weighted person would enter and exit out of bucket seats. For his size he did a damn good job. But you shouldn’t use him as an example for the 99 percent of population smaller than him. |

A 2 piece seat with plenty of adjustment, obviously comfy & priced well too. Definitely one of the highlights of the G80/82 release. So you'll have to lift your fat arse over the side bolster rather than dragging it across...not a big deal imo.

You really need to try them out in person. I'm 6'1, 160lbs and I can get in and out fine, takes a couple of tries to figure it out. Is it more work than a regular seat? Yes.
If you had to run errands in it all day getting in and out will it become a pain in the ass? Most likely yes. Winter driving is also going to be fun, your pants are going to rub the door sill every time you get out so get used to removing dirt and salt off of them |

Carbon fiber bucket are beautiful and priced fairly but I'm staying with the standard seat for practicality.

That dude is huge. He doesn't need a bigger seat he needs a bigger car. He barely fits into the door opening.

Ingress/egress was definitely more awkward even for a 5'10" 160lb guy (me). I loved it though - felt lower to the ground, and more supported both of which added to the difficulty of getting in/out. Need to work on my core!
