Went with Skyscraper on my build, not because I love it but because I'm personally not really a fan of the other colors offered, except BSM. I would've probably gone with BSM if it were not for the fact that I love to shoot my cars and BSM would just add hours of unnecessary editing to remove reflections. Wish BMW had offered something like Mineral Gray. Dravit is nice but too brown/purple in direct light.

Alpine was a super popular color for the E9X and F8X generation, and I've noticed not a lot of people get it for the G8X. My last three cars were white and it's usually my default color of choice but guess a lot of people seem to be in the same boat as I am in thinking it doesn't really suit the car.

Initially thought I wanted Aventurin Red, but BMW said there was not enough lead time for the allocation I was going to pick up that was in 112. So i ordered BSM/Fiona, but after that car sat in QC for 4 months, I ended up finding an Aventurin Red/Silverstone, and I am super happy about it.

I would probably do Frozen Black or Dakar Yellow with the 963M wheels

I have Tanzanite Blue II over Silverstone. I wish I had gone with San Marino over black like my M4CS F82 was. Thought I'd try something new, and don't get me wrong it's beautiful, but something about San Marino in the sun is my jam.

Speed Yellow looks real sharp, would have to go black interior though and I don’t think I could do that. If I do end up ordering another it’ll probably be Alpine over Fjord. Prefer my color on the inside I guess

I too was deliberating over SMB after spec'ing TBII. I already have Tanz on my 40i so there was an option--or rather, a subjective impulse!--to try a slightly different blue. But there's a certain elegance about Tanz, which it retains in all light conditions, that SMB doesn't, for me, match. There's a F82 M4 in my local dealer with SMB and, without doubt, it looks fab--quite zesty. It's a colour that clearly insists on being noticed. But I'm in the UK and so have to endure weeks on end of overcast skies. As such, every time I've seen that M4 in a cloudy day it looks a bit two-dimensional, somehow less metallic, and noticeably purple. What's more, I think there's something about that previous generation's body lines that suit SMB, whereas the bulky moodiness of the G80 complements Tanz. At least, this is the way I've come to a decision anyway..! Fiendishly difficult to choose between them.

Anyone have regrets by getting Sao Paulo Yellow over the long term? I have a Brooklyn Grey on order and thinking of switching. Worried I would wake up and walk to a yellow car 3 years down the line and being *too* bright.

I changed mine to Skyscraper from Brooklyn, and upon having more paralysis by analysis decided it was my favorite by far. There was no way, no how I'd ever find a better color....Then I saw an individual color on this forum, a Frozen something, that was OMG I want that! I quickly deleted my browser history and closed the laptop, and have not seen that color again cuz it could've delayed my build and hurt the wallet, ha.

As a BG owner I voted for Dravit Grey! Although, I wonder how hard it is to keep clean. Is it as tough as the BSM?
