G82 LCI - BMW Individual Lights Shadow Line

Configurator for G82 LCI lists the following optional extra:
BMW Individual Lights Shadow Line
Dark elements in the headlights lend your BMW an unmistakable look. The dark details are an ideal complement to the M high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim with extended features, which is also available as an option.

I've compared pictures between the standard Adaptive Headlights and these Shadow Line, and i'm not sure what changed?

Standard Adaptive Headlights:

Looks like the interior panels go from dark gray to black? Dunno, the standard lights look darker. LOL.

According to BMW UK Customer Service:

"Our Shadowline headlights consist of LED lights however the back light doesn't illuminate compared to our adaptive standard headlights which may not be that visible on our online configurator"

So I had a closer look at all available videos, and I think this is the difference they talk about:

First time ever I might prefer non-Shadowline lights.

Yea very hard to tell difference. It might be more obvious depending on the color of the car. Like the contrast between the two.
But yea both pretty dark.

This option should be called "The Emperor's New Headlights"

Don't think the US cars will be getting the blue accents in the housings. They make them look alot more premium for some reason.

Agree on non-shadowline lights, looks good.

Sadly BMW is very slow responding to queries by email. I hope they will provide some more meaningful information before it's too late to change it on my build.

Still no response. I consider this a huge let down on BMW part, considering there is no middle-man/dealer to blame.
