Its the dust shield. Also why are you needing to clean your wheels? You have carbon ceramics lol

Look out washing the wheels if you use an EZDetail brush. They get stuck between the wheel and the dust shield. And it’s a b@tch to get out.

i have CCB too but the best way to clean the wheels i think should be take them apart from car and clean them one by one😂

The dust shield also helps block heat from the brake rotor getting to the rubber suspension bushings. I've removed the dust shield on past cars, but for this reason I choose to keep it, even tho it's a PITA, as you know.

Guys, the best thing I do after getting the car detailed or washed etc. either before or after the wash, wear a wask obv get a needle nose air hose and get into wheel brake pads etc and blow that stuff away! Huge difference
