Fair price on a G82 MT?
Hey guys, what would be a fair price on a M4 MT that's on the lot right now? I have a dealer that's being fairly aggressive (i.e. less than MSRP) but not sure how far I can push in this market.

If its a brand new vehicle, anything below MSRP is a good deal unless it has a weird spec and is sitting in a lot for a while.

And it's just sitting on the lot and they're offering it for below msrp? Sorry that I'm repeating what you said in a question but I'm in disbelief. Typically in stock cars go for minimum $5k-$10k over msrp... and I've seen some as high as $20k over.
The fact that they're giving a discount on it is absolute insanity. You need to buy it ASAP and then take the CA out for a steak dinner.

I was on a dealer web site recently and they had 3 M4s in stock, 1 was base. Two of the 3 were BG which I found interesting. So I presume that a clever person might be able to negotiate a deal.
350Z guy/gal would help themselves out a bit if they'd update their profile with a location.

Also, if you aren't paying cash, see if they're offering the buy rate on financing or on a lease. BMWFS allows dealers to mark up the rate and currently, most dealers who are at or below MSRP are marking the rate up. |

I've been lurking on Auto Trader / Car Gurus and it seems like M4s sit at dealerships for a bit.
There was a used loaded (aside from carbon buckets) SPY/YMB M4C at the local dealership for a good 6-7 weeks and they just kept dropping the price on it until it finally sold. |

Also, some (unfortunately, not all) dealers show "in transit" for cars not yet arrived, and I think I ran across one where they actually indicated on the web site that the car was already spoken for.
