Just got off the phone with BMW genius and they told me I am now a week 8 production (used to be week 7). On the tracker it still shows "order received" though.

I'll probably be joining y'all as well. Was week 7 and a few days away from starting production then went back to 105 and haven't moved since. As of this past Friday, BMW still didn't have a production spot for me....so who knows where I'll land

I was week 7 status 112, and got pushed to week 8 status 105. Now my CA just called me and said he called his rep in Germany and I will be pushed to week 14, based on the parts shortage.

First time ordering a car through BMW (or any car really). how do you know what Week number you are what does the week number mean?

You can call/email Genius or your SA. Build week is based on week of the year.

Hope not bro, a few of us who were meant to be Feb build over here have all been pushed to end of April, May and some even June.

Most likely receive mine a few months before LCI is announced.

This is what I'm afraid of with mine. I was originally scheduled to be finished this week, but now I can't even get an estimated production date. So I'm guessing mine will be pushed quite a ways.

Edit: Just checked online again and at some point this morning it switched from 105 to 111 so I guess they're finally looking again. Anxious to see where I land lol

I haven't been checking my status but I've switched from 105 to 111 sometime this week too. I also now have 50 year emblems on my build sheet so i'm assuming i'll be week 9+.

Today.......I was about to cancel for real, and I wrote this morning to my SA telling him that if I hadn't had a VIN by this evening, I would have cancelled for real, this time.

Two hours later....I had my VIN. I can't believe I have my chassi after all this endless waiting..........it's weird........but finally...I'm happy.

Ahh, just noticed that got added on mine as well....so yeah, week 9+ it is then.

Am I one of the few that think the anniversary roundels are ugly and don't fit that car in any way whatsoever?

Give genius a call, I just did, they just said Week 18 build . May 1 to May 7.

That certainly changes some things.

I just called Genius and they said right now it's estimated as a week 15 build. So I slipped 8 weeks.
