He says the camera on that M4 is in the emblem but if you look at a G80 its right under the trunk lid like on the F80s.

Having it on the logo is a bad place for it. I have it in a similar place on my Jeep and every time it rains the camera gets wet and you couldn't see anything. It's much better tucked up under the lid.

Simply because such things are following normal 3 and 4 series cars. The normal 4 series also has it in the badge, the 3 series under trunk lid
And if you compare both, you also notice that the badge is bigger on the 4er / M4, because of that.

I was the other people he was referring to in the video I stopped by to drive it but Brian had the car out on the track filming. He was kind enough to stop filming for us to check it out. I have some pictures of it but they are just crappy cell phone pics. The car sounds pretty good, just quiet compared to the F80 and my M2.

The car looks better in person, but it is pretty big. It looks big parked next to my M2 but I'm still looking forward to driving an M3 manual soon.

Definitely happy I went with the 6MT on my G80 build. Gotta admit the manual transmission is more of a passion purchase nowadays, but you can't beat the fun and rewards of throwing your own gears

Yes, if you've never seen the trunk emblem on an M4 (and it seems like the 4 series), it sticks out maybe 1/2" on a silver bezel/ring. I didn't know that myself until I saw it on a G82 M4 the other day. I didn't know why they did it that way at the time. Now I understand it's because the camera is in the bottom of that ring.

Yup! I should've moved my car a little closer to where he parked the M4 to get better side-by-side pictures. In person, the M4 does looks bigger than the M2, but not as much as it does in my pics with the distorted fish-eye cell phone camera.

Honestly, the M4 looked a lot better in person (not just the grills) than most of the pics I've seen so far. It does look big, but the body lines are a lot more visible in the metal. We drove back to the test track and saw them driving the car and it it looks pretty sweet from the back at following distance... the rear does look a bit tall, but overall it has great presence; especially with the new, larger exhaust tips.

I was never considering AW as a color but I thought it still looked pretty good in person with the bi-color 826M wheels and blue calipers. Felt more familiar like an F-gen car, like my M2.

While the interior had black seats, it was nice to see/sit in them because there is more detail to them than what it looks like in pictures. I think the black worked well with the Aluminum trim to brighten it up a bit. Seats were comfy and clutch pedal felt about as firm as my M2 clutch. So not really that heavy; nothing like my old 981 Cayman's clutch.

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of other minor details but feel free to ask for anything specific that I could help answer

Awesome and thanks! I was texting my CA about their first delivery and he said their manual M4 should be PDI'd and ready for Friday so I said I'll come by at 1 pm and I guess Kies also got the message and was there all day
