Does anyone have the correct description of this defect? I added a temporary message to the tool, but if someone can get a screenshot of the internal tool where it shows the exact internal message it would be cool.

This description just populated now that the car arrived at the port:

"Checking the installation of amplifier, retrofitting if necessary (note: not confirmed message)"

Defect code #0065600300

I have two codes:

0065600300 - “Checking the installation of amplifier, retrofitting if necessary (note: not confirmed message)”

and

0065480300 - “Retrofitting the receiver audio module”

Any idea why I have two codes and most people only have one? Or what the first code means?

I wonder if the first code pertains to the second. As in maybe once the ram is retrofitted, a separate person/place has to then inspect it? I’m just guessing but I’d assume it has to be something of that nature.

I think these are separate, unrelated issues. Many people have one vs the other. One is related to the amp whereas the other is like a receiver type deal—at least that is my understanding.

Hello all - does anyone have an update on their amplifier stop sale? Lots of folks at Baltimore VPC stuck with RAM, and curious if anyone has seen movement on this amp stop sale.

Spoke with Genius, she confirmed this is different than the RAM stop sale. Mentioned the RAM stop sale has a longer lead time because they have more cars waiting for RAM than RAM available.

Strange part was she couldn't find more info on the amplifier stop sale, and mentioned it is very uncommon as compared to RAM. Also suggested we should have our CAs reach out the the VPC for more info…

I have both as well. The way I read this is 0065480300 is installing the missing receiver audio module (RAM) and 0065600300 is checking that the power module (amplifier) is installed and if it isn't installing it.

Same situation for me, G83 wk 41, 4 codes showed up today and in Greer waiting PCD. Realistically it will be a 2022 delivery now.

I just checked my codes and there are 4 separate defect codes 0065480300, retrofitting the receiver audio module and 4 separate defect codes 0065600300 saying checking the installation of amplifier, retrofitting if necessary (note not confirmed message). I would post a picture but I don’t know how to. Originally it just showed one for each. Maybe something is happening. And I am still in QC since 11/8
