thats the thing...in *normal* times, we'd all just move on and never take delivery of a '21 in Oct/Nov of '21. but...if it were normal times..we'd not have to be waiting like that. so there's really no depreciation hit for the foreseeable future. AND...if you really want the car (or ANY sports car, for that matter)...youre gonna have to get back in line or pony up for the premium to get it.

Its a 2022 and its just sitting there in Oxnard collecting dust for now. I think yours comes into Port Hueneme, then on to Oxnard. Good luck.

Yes, looking at the map, the BMW VDC is only a few blocks from the port. From watching one of their videos, the cars are driven off the ship, and driven over to the VDC.

I talked to my CA, today, and he said they just received their 22 Convertible thats been at the port for over a month. So, hes going to look, tomorrow, when he gets back to work, to see if some of the other cars have been taken care of, as well. Maybe thats a good thing, and they have parts. Maybe the parts for that car, specifically just came in? I'll find out, tomorrow.

I just called genius and they said my work order started on Sept 28th and told me to expect the delivery in a week or two, but given Oeon's timeline I think should probably expect to see it in a month or two lol

Just got word that my car that got loaded on a boat yesterday is impacted by the RAM stop sale.

Car is currently set to arrive at port on 11/5.

After 7 weeks at the VPC my stop sale has been resolved and I do not have the engine stop sale. Getting my car on Thursday.

Things are happening! Our BMW dealer just called that our M850 will be in early in the week, most likely Tuesday so we can pick it up the next day. Today was the start of Week 6 at the VDC. Finally!

It looks like mine leaves port tomorrow. I'm getting it through Valencia BMW. I'm going to creep the dealer tomorrow to see if I can get a glimpse haha.

I have this from my CA, but of course, the car hasnt left, today, and its already 5PM, so, I dont see it happening. The dates are just placeholders.

My CA has been flaky with me. I asked him last if my car had a stop sale, and he hasn't reached back at all. The genius has helped with most of the info, but I don't see my self working with that guy again.

What is so wrong with RAM that so many cars have a recall on them?
I just checked my VIN at https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/footer/quic...e-recalls.html and I see now that apparently my car also have recall while scheduled to arrive at port Hueneme on Oct 22nd...

Based on server response I have 2 active problems:
- Checking the installation of the camera and TRSVC control unit, retrofitting if necessary
- Retrofitting the receiver audio module

I also have one resolved - G1x G2x G3x G8x F9x Check Installation Camera and Control Unit TRSVC.

Its sad. Many of them either dont know their job, or dont even know where to look. They just stand outside, and wait for customers.

The RAM (RECEIVER AUDIO MODULE) isnt a recall. Its not installed from the factory. Its a parts shortage. They can only park so many cars at the factory. Theyre better off shipping them to their destination ports, and having the parts "port installed." It looks like you also have a camera STOP SALE, which would also indicate that the part is not likely installed. Parts shortage.
