I visited BMW Seattle on 11/24 and submitted an order for 22 M4C with XDrive (Fiona Red interior, CF bucket seats, red calipers, Executive, CF interior, Laser lights) to replace my current 21 M4C RWD (Executive, CF interior, Silverstone interior).

They told me they don't have an allocation but there is nobody else on the waiting list so I should get the next allocation that comes their way…possibly by the end of the year.

4 days later….and Dealer just called to let me know they've secured an allocation for my car with a January build date. I'm absolutely ecstatic!

Congrats!!! I called around 20-25 dealers across the east coast & lowest amount of people on a list was about 4-5 with the highest around 14. I put down 3 deposits & was called exactly 2 weeks later by my local dealer for a Dec. allocation! I hope to get it by late spring or early summer...it has individual paint & M Performance parts being put on so I suspect a few weeks delay.

This is awesome news. I also happened to talk to two BMW Seattle salespeople. One told me to take 8 months to place an order and another one is, even more, crazier told me 12 months waiting from now. I am sure your deal probably is awesome that they willing to do everything for you. Do you mind sharing your salesperson? so he or she can give us another allocation?

I was told the same thing, that it could take up to a year to get it. Then I went in person, sat down and placed the order and BAM…4 days later got an allocation.

Now granted, I could have gotten lucky but it's worth asking. Good luck!
