I was moved up to 112 - Scheduled for production. Then I checked this morning and I've been moved BACK to "order received". This really sucks

Same thing happened to me. I called and was told that was because some of the options were received and others are coming. I was told by BMW genius I was still a week 40 production. I have no idea what to believe at this point.

Just moved to Scheduled for Production and was told production BEGINS Week 41. I made sure to clarify that. Hoping to get the car by Christmas but I feel like it's a bit of a longshot.

Status changed last night to Scheduled for Production for me. Took a while but here's hoping it stays that way and moves forward, not backward.

I checked MyBMW now and see I am back at 112!

Just found out I’m week 41.

‘22 M4 Comp xDrive
Tanzanite Blue II Metallic
Black extended leather
826M bi-color wheels
Driver Assist Pro Package
Ventilated seats
Red brake calipers

I called genius today to try to add parking assist but they said it’s too late. Oh well. Just means my wife isn’t allowed to drive it.

That isn't true at least based on my conversations with genius. Every time they have told me that my "week xx build" means week xx is when production is scheduled to begin, not finish.

Well he’s wrong. I’ll tell you what you should do. Why don’t you when you have time call five different BMW dealerships in different random states and ask them. They will all tell you the build week is the week the car is finished.

There’s a super easy way to settle this argument… just ask members here who already received their cars. If they were told week 32… did the car start week 32 or finish? Tons of people on this forum already have the car. Bam, there. I fixed it.

Check "BIMMERPOST Guide to Ordering and Tracking your BMW": your build week is actually the week your car is scheduled to FINISH production. So, it should start production a week or two before the build week.

Well if that’s the case then ask me. I’ve already built three BMWs and it’s always been the finish week.

That’s why I suggested calling other dealerships and asking them so you can see what I’m telling you is true. But I agree with you no sense in pissing off the guy at your dealership that’s attempting to help you.

Ummmm…I just checked again and it’s now showing my order back to “order received”, but what’s really strange is in addition to the options I selected, the build is now showing the exec package, park assist package, Laser lights, m drive pro, and shadow line lights. Anyone else had something like this happen? Stocking stuffers from BMW?

So I called the Genius line and was told the number I had been given by the dealer wasn't a production number. The Genius said that production numbers start with 46 or 4 and mine begins with 6, is that correct?

BMWUSA.com lets me track my order using the number I was given and says it's "order received" and I can see my spec too (the dealer said I was week 41). Thinking the Genius is wrong. Anyone?
