USAA Discount on G80?

Has anyone tried using their USAA discount on a G80? Don't see M cars specifically listed after verifying my identity with BMW.

I'm giving it a shot. Seems like I should be eligible for $500 on lease but it does say 2021 models but between dates 1/4/2021 and 1/3/2022 so we'll see.

You should be good from that perspective.

The years always get updated late.

Was curious if anyone managed to get the full 3 series discount on the M3. High hopes I guess. Haha

Why worry about this? If you are going to finance it you are going to give way more than that back to the bank over the course of the loan. 500 on an 80k plus car.

I don't really understand. Why not get a discount if you can?

Think he means because you can finance the car for 0.90% but by getting the discount of 2500 and financing anywhere else you will pay way more on interest then the 2500 your saving instantly you will save more on the car by getting the 0.9 Loan

Yes, $80k is more thank $500... I'm not sure I understand your point.

Saving $500 is good no matter what. Especially since you get it for doing nothing extra. You don't have to use USAA as your finances for the car to get the discount.

The USAA discount is actually $2,500 on a 3 series. Finance or Lease.

I was asking if anyone managed to use it on an M3. Looks like the answer is no but you do get $500.

Often times of someone is giving you a discount they are making it back x3 in financing over the life of the note. That is my point. USAA gives you 500 off. They make it back plus some with the insurance or the interest.

They give you a discount up front and you pay more back over the life of the note. Get an amortization table and see how much you are actually paying for the car.

Again, not using USAA as my bank.

Lease or finance, whichever I decide, still goes through BMWFS. Just using the USAA membership to get a discount. Same as a you would through factory incentive paid by BMW. All finance / lease numbers stay the same.

I'm a USAA member and this is my first time purchasing a new BMW… can anyone fill me in on how we prove to the dealership we are a member? Do we print something off the usaa website?

I just took my iPad to the dealership, logged into my USAA account, and showed it to my CA.

You can verify your usaa status through this link:

https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...incentive.html

It's for all usaa members. Not just those in active military service.

Once verified it gave me a code I can take to the BMW dealer to prove my membership/ discount.

Although it does not list the M3, many people have informed me BMW gave them $500.

I have my quote, already, and if I remember correctly, did it only apply to 2021 cars, or the M4 Comp wasnt included?

I"m not sure what you mean. What quote? From who?

The USAA discount applies to 2021 and 2022. There are a lot of posts talking about it.

The 3 series and 4 series are listed as a $2,500 discount. The M3 and M4 are not listed at all.

Many people have reported they were given $500 for their M3.

Im calling the certificate that you receive when you fill out your information. I guess thats a better word, "Certificate" I was trying to remember exactly what it said when you will the info out. I think it doesnt specifically "show" M cars, but when you scroll down and click "what cars are eligible" it states even some high performance cars.

Maybe you're talking about a different link?

The link I posted doesn't show a "certificate" for me.

Once you verify your eligibility it just shows a list of cars and their respective discounts.

Click on any one and it gives you an "offer code" and "customer number" to give the dealer when you go it.

It's the same one with the offer code and the customer number. It sort of looks like a certificate to me. Just the way the page is laid out, I guess. But is doesnt specifically outline M cars, but when you read the part about what cars are included. They say high performance cars. The one that looks like a Certificate, I must be thinking of the TrueCar one.
