When you guys say week #/x build , is that when it is expected to start being built / or end of building and then shipped?

I think 'Build' week is when it's scheduled to be finished, but that seems sort of fluid right now

I placed my order 2 weeks ago, now it's in QC and expected to be completed tomorrow! Did I just get lucky?! Not individual, going plane old Alpine White this time!

I wouldn't do this but bmw bayside just got a skyscraper grey/black heavily specd (msrp 95) and they asked me if I want it for $10k over sticker - I told them I would wait but if anyone wants to give a crack at them and willing to pay over/negotiate

Woot! Was #2 on a waitlist and the buyer ahead of me was at status 112 for a week 1 build but backed out. My dealer was able to change the options to my build and got a production number! Not sure if it will stay a week 1 build or get pushed back like so many others, but I'm just glad I'm in the game now! And I'm happy to wait until spring to take delivery.

Was on various waitlists since July, so to those of you still waiting, be patient and your luck will turn!

LCI orders will start getting taken a couple months after you take delivery...this is why I'm just gonna wait.

LCIs might bring in good cosmetic updates but i am not a big fan of iDrive 8. So i would be more interested on a MY22.

I hear ya but for resale longevity updates 8 will be more attractive.

True, but I don't think I'll be happy with the updated interface on a day today basis.

If a person is planning to keep the vehicle for a while, resale value shouldn't be an issue. Also while selling I should be able to find a person who prefers that interface with some patience.
