He gets another 3.6 sec 0-60 time and 11.6 1/4 mile - so basically matches his M4 times.

His times in the RS4 are 3.4 0-60 and 11.7 1/4 mile, so pretty much on a par it seems in same conditions, same road (that 'road' is actually a private track, also used for TV & film, near to where I live BTW).

Looks like both cars had Michelin PS4s on too...

Yeah this G80 is a winner. Grille or not it looks so much better than the Audi too.

A very bad habit CARWOW has is not to show the trap speed, which is a critical indicator of engine power and rolling capability.

The ET (eclipse time) by comparison is very much about the traction and is almost irrelavant when doing rwd vs awd.

6.5 mph delta is very large. F80 was about 118 mph if I recall.

Yeah I had a little chuckle when he said the Audi looks better; it looks 'safer' (i.e. boring), but I actually think the M3 / M4 looks better (so yes I like the grille!)

I thought it was pointless comparing wagon to saloon/sedan at least from a practicality point of view, but he eventually did mention the M3 Touring.

Looks are subjective, but in any case I'd have the BMW over the Audi (or any Audi other than an R8) any day of the week.

They make you pay out the ass to get one though. I saw one the other day that was going for $50k over asking - $180k for a $130k car. That is absurd

Mat's final conclusion was: Audi RS4 is a really good car, but the BMW M3 is even better.

I prefer the smaller, more nimble, and better looking RS4 wagon

Anyone else amazed (in a bad way) that the new M3/4 is being compared to wagons and base 911. Oh my 🤯
