Showing July. My current GT4 was delivered on 7/18 so maybe there's a chance this one will too.

My guy at PCNA was telling me so many cars are delayed due to parts issues in the Ukraine and other regions. No PCCBS, No wiring harnesses, No power tilt and slide wheel modules, etc ...

And then the boats just keep floating; my other GTS was supposed to be here next week and now its mid June as the boat kept anchoring at the Canal and now decided to go to Ecuador (was not scheduled). Hence my grabbing this car instead (actually better deal and better spec).

Edit: And I supposedly got the first wireless Android Auto (at my delivering dealer) as the Porsche Delivery guy stated... I cant believe people still have to use a cable in 2022

Quick question - I thought the 992 gen was all wide booty, even the GT3s. Am I mistaken?

Thanks Vic55 for steering me over to this thread. Congrats on the car. I remember when we were just barely talking about to GTS, or not to GTS. Luckily it all happened, extremely quickly, for you. Like I was saying in the other thread, it would take this car, GTS, at a minimum, for me to pick it over a G8X. The M is just that good. Amazing color, and I can't wait to see what else you're going to be doing with it. ABi and NKS (never keep stock)

Previous gen 991, there were 3 body sizes.

Narrow - 71.2 inch width (ie Carrera, Carrera S)
Wide - 72.9 inch width (ie 4/4S models, GTS, GT3
Ultra wide - 74.0 inches (turbo/turbo S, GT3RS, GT2RS)

The 992 dropped what was formerly the narrow body and now the standard for all 911s, and GT3s sans the RS or turbos is 72.9 inches.

Honestly I have no idea as the term LCI never really had me invested in waiting (Here with M) as I just get the car when I can if I can. I dont think Ive ever seen Porsche do a mid cycle power bump for the same iteration (IE 991.1, 991.2, 992.1) as those cars all kept the same power until a new number was added post decimal or overall chassis change. But that I would not consider that an LCI which to me is usually optics.

Maybe someone else here would know better?

I don't think you'll see a bump in power (if so, minor) for the 992.2 but allocations are in such short order, why in the world would you pass up a chance to be driving NOW? By that same sense, why do the 992.2 when you can just wait for the next gen car in a few years. It's a cycle that you cannot beat.
