Agreed. It doesn't really fit with square plates.

I only run a front plate on my commuters. I don't like drilling into the front end. I thought about getting a license plate wrap, but there really isn't enough room to run one of these, either. Legal in California.

For those that have installed the Rho or the Eos, can you provide a picture of the clearance (top view) from the bumper? Trying to decide which one to buy and install.

EOS
I did swivel it so it's more flush with the bumper. It has a curved bracket which allows for some movement.

I ended up getting the Rho as the EOS was out of stock. I have to say, I received an order confirmation about 2 mins later, then an update about 2 hours later that it has been shipped. That's pretty impressive. If it fits well, I'll be very pleased!

Anyone have the Rho want to post a pic of how close it sits to the bumper?

Rho sits flush. You can't get any tighter without touching that paint!

Between the Rho and the Carbonio, which is the easiest to take on and off? 90% of the time, I’ll go without the plate. However, I do have to park at the airport once in a while and they make the rounds every night and ticket for everything!

That exactly how I plan on using. Just for parking in NYC occasionally. I don't like the front plate but those plates off to the side look even worse to me. I contacted Sto N SHO Monday and they finally have a figment for the M3 although it's not listed so you have to call. Shipped next day.

Carbonio for sure.

Rho requires a screw driver and is a more permanent application

I think if you want a 'pop on, pop off' solution the. You need Carbonio or Sto and Sho

Just got the Sto n Sho delivered today. Car coming next week. Instructions say it uses 2 pre existing screws under the front lip so no additional drilling required. Quick on and off. I'll just be using this a few times a month when parked in the Boroughs of NYC.

Very interested in this.

Please record a video on how it looks when it's engaged/disengaged.

Thank God I live in a state that doesn’t require such ugliness ruining the design of a car.

I feel like you just cant put a front plate on a car like this, I never have, just risk getting the ticket because it looks like shit with the plate over the grille.

As others have stated at least in the five boroughs meter maids will ticket you all day. No one really pulls you over for it. Not a great option for the nyc members.

And in some parts of NJ, even if you're just driving normally if a cop wants to be a dick, he WILL u-turn or go out of his way to give you a ticket for that. Then if you have tints, he tacks that on too. Then he'll see what other stuff he can add to the ticket.

DRM3GALLY, Just the opposite!!! In California its used to make a "Traffic Stop" (5200 CVC) day or night continuously.
