Bought my dream G80 M3....only to get wrecked hours after purchase

I wouldn't count on that. I submitted for a pothole that bent a rim (not my G80) with a picture of the pothole and car, and receipts. It was denied with absolutely no explanation. Save your effort.

Wanted to provide some positive news after several of you gave me some great words of encouragement and even shared some of your misfortunes....I got the car back today and was both nervous and excited as I drove it home the final 45 miles and parked it in my garage. Car was as glorious as last month shifting through gears and got to experience driving it through rush hour traffic in DTLA. This is one of the easiest and fun cars to drive in both open road and traffic. Happy to have the car back home and thank you to all again for the encouragement and positive outlook!

Sorry for a basic question - but how does the drive recorder work? I thought it was not continuous and only saved recordings that were manually triggered?

It continuously loops and when it detects impact saves the recording. It has to be configured in the app though where you accept the terms.

Or you can manually trigger it as well. When you manually trigger it, it stores up to the last 20 seconds and forward 20 seconds when it was triggered.
