Remember all the flack the E90 mustache grills received?

BMW corrected that mistake with the LCI model

I do, and that was an easy correction to make at LCI. I'm glad they did it.

Agree, the 1-series while a great driving car, looks wise had a weird face and stubby proportions, and the nav system looks like an afterthought with the hole they cut into the dash. The 2er is cleaner to my eyes inside and out.

My plan was to buy next gen M4 because every time I saw M4 on the roads, I wanted to buy one immediately. I really like the front end, but I wanted more power, so I waited for new gen M4. I tried to like the front, but nothing helps. It's not what I wanted it to be, so I won't be happy with it. I'm sure it's going to be ultimate driving machine, but design is important too. There's no hate from me, I know people are still going to buy M3/M4. After 3 BMWs in a row, I'm going with C8 Convertible or C8 Z06. Time for something new.

I think it's the camouflage doing its job, plus, much like the F82, the flaring seems more gradual than bulbous like the F80 or E90.

That prototype doesn't have an ACC sensor. Take a look at the previous spy shots.

I think it's just the camouflage. You can see the wide rear fenders better on other pics, like here:

As being the new compact M car I prefer the 1M’s tidier proportions. It’s like a little pit bull. Very cool car but I was part of the crowd panning the use of the N54 in an M car

It’s growing on me etc etc. I think it’s time they did a camo drop. Seeing the car at the same stage after getting excited about new pics is becoming tedious
