Dust is almost any colors enemy. Never use a California duster on black. Bucket of water, one capful eco wash (works as a lubricant), microfiber wash mitt, and a proper drying towel. No hose required. Soak the mitt, wring out half way and wipe each section one at a time followed by towel. Almost as quick as a duster plus your car will pop when your done. My detailer taught me this method and it changed my life lol.

Wow. These photos legit flipped the way I thought about id8 and how I disliked the huge display over traditional dash design. With the way your photos depicted another example of how id8 looks in M cars, it’s so different! It looks great and I’m totally in love with how much area it opens up on the dash, almost like a breathe of fresh air.

I agree with you - the iD8 looks most at home in the m4. On my m3 it was a little strange in there - lots of real estate that felt a bit empty… but this cockpit looks great

Looks good, I'm really liking the looks of iDrive 8. I look forward to the larger screen.

I just picked up my voodoo blue and absolutely love the color.

Pics really don’t do either justice.

Wow. That voodoo blue is stunning. Do you like it better than the santorini blue? On the bmw individual website, I only see santorini blue as an option, no voodoo, but I prefer voodoo. Are they able to do it in voodoo do you know? I’m thinking of changing from the TM2 to voodoo

Voodoo is definitely possible. I hadn’t seen voodoo in person before ordering but it’s perfect. A little more vibrant imo than santorini.

There are a few non metallic blues available. Voodoo, santorini, pure, enzian/gentian, Daytona (formerly Mexico). Use the international bmw individual site for options.

Just remember you can - in one touch- hit the recirc button. Or the heated seat. Or the air flow. Plus the new rev and speedo are weird. ID8 has some advantages but some real disadvantages. XDrive is amazing but remember it adds weight. 😎

Totally agree with you on the climate in the id8 but you can say the same about id7 and rwd. Everything has advantages and disadvantages 😄

I’ve come to believe that blue is the color for BMWs…but, there is SOMETHING about black cars that is SOOOOOO cool!!!
Beautiful car bro, enjoy it!!!
