I too have been concerned about the tires too wide for the rim but concensus from various forums is that they'll work.

I end up running 295/30/19 square on staggered wheels 10.5/11.

CRV2 is narrow compared to GYSC3R. So it should be fine to run 305 on 10.5" wheel.
