That little exhaust button you can press by the shifter? I thought it strictly was for the interior fake, synthesized, exhaust sound. Every time I turned it on an off it sounded fake to me so I assumed it was only controlling the fake sound. On the highway today I noticed a lot more burbles and pops in sport+ since I removed the resonators. I thought to myself “how would the car know I cut those off and anticipate putting more fake sound into the cabin?” So I pressed the button, and all of the burbles and pops went away. Pressed it again, they came back. Finally, I told my friend to stick his head out the window and tell me if he hears any of that from outside the car. He confirmed he totally did and took a shitty video to prove it.

Long story short, I’m now convinced that the exhaust button fully controls the vale’s in the exhaust and not just the interior synthesized sound.

Sorry if this was already a known fact lol it’s news to me.
