More like 3 to 4 grand for a full front end PPF done correctly. I've seen quotes around 2k but there was add ons

I got mine done for around $3k including tints and ceramic which was the best quote I could find
lol that can't be right.

But maybe i'm wrong. When i say front end, i just mean the bumper lol. No front fenders, no mirrors, no hood. Literally just the front bumper.

It can't be 3-4 grand.

Front end usually means fenders, hood Etc so yes just the bumper would be a lot less but anyone I spoke to said the bumper is a total pain to do and takes a lot of hours. Definitely more than a few hundred bucks. Closer to $1k I'd say but obviously will vary by region and quality

It definitely looks like a pain to do. We'll see what my tint guy says.

Gunna have to disagree with you on this one. About 1/3-1/2 of the exotics I know have PPF either full or at least partial. You would never know it until you popped a hood and looked for a seam, or really checked the corners. The additional gloss that a lot of these films offer really makes the metallic paint "pop"

Wonder if you saw some bad examples? PPF is not the same now as it was even 3-4 years ago.

Both my cars are fully wrapped. GTR Black F82 YAS. Both look like new and super shiny. If you can afford the whole car, DO IT!!!!!!

I did full because I purchased in Canada & drive it here to Missouri, plus I can see it going back and forth often & frozen paint.

Thought I was going to do just front and ceramic, but looks like I'm just doing ful PPF for my BSM. Will make it the easiest for me.

Quick question is it normal for shops to not wrap the entirety of the gas cap cover and tow hook cover? I just got my car back from a full body PPF and noticed that PPF covered about 90% of the area with the other 10% being exposed. It’s been a day and I’ve noticed dirt is getting between the seams.

Guessing it depends from shop to shop. Mine wrapped the full front of the gas cap and the seams were in the back. You can ask them to redo it. It's only a small section.

I am doing:

- Front bumper (inc. headlamps)
- Front fenders
- Mirrors
- Hood
- CF roof
- Rockers

I am on the fence on doing the rear deck lid as I am not sure I want them to take the spoiler off, and I don't want them to cut around it as I don't think that is a great option.

Going with Suntek Reaction.
