Thanks for the reply, and I am assuming your order is for an individual color? I am asking because I am getting mixed answers. The dealer that gave me the allocation says individual colors are no longer available for any MY24 M3 allocations, and another dealer I inquired a while back is saying individual colors are still available for MY24 M3 allocations

Not sure if this helps you, but I went through a similar situation when I received my allocation (for a 2024 M3). My dealership said that individual colors weren't allowed anymore, but after I kept calling different ones around different parts of the country, I kept hearing different, so my CA went ahead and put in a request anyways, which was approved. Below is my timelime if it helps:

2/5: Allocation received
2/6: Individual color submitted (went from Status 111 to 102)
2/13: Individual color accepted by BMW and added to my build (Went back to Status 111)

I know this is a few weeks old, but maybe it'll help provide you with a reference of some sort. Good luck! BTW, last I heard from Genius is that my order is a week 15 build, so if your production number is already slated to be a lot closer to the switchover timeframe (to MY25), that might affect the likelihood of them being able to accept an individual color, because it will more than likely push back your production date. This is just me speculating though. Mine was pushed back by 3 weeks for the individual color.

When I placed my order last week, I initially selected an individual color (later changed to IoMG) and the dealer didn't mention anything like this. Might need to push them a bit or find another dealer.

I received the allocation about a week ago, so a bit later than Vector2Final and kenyanjadu, and my CA said my production should be around April (still status 111 as of today though). My CA was unable to put the individual color (Le Man Blue) in my build at first and said this specific color is no longer available. When I selected other individual colors, in case certain colors are no longer offered, my CA checked with his production manager and said the production manager told him all individual colors are no longer available for MY24 M3's.

I initially took the dealership's word and only started wondering when another dealer I had inquired prior reached out and confirmed that individual colors are still available after he emailed BMW Genius.

I will call around and see what other dealers say. In the meantime, if anyone was able to receive an allocation around my time frame and is able to do individual colors, please feel free to share. I know the M3's are approaching that window of transition where individual colors are no longer offered until MY25 (presumably LCI) production begins, and maybe my allocation is part of the end of MY24.

Did you get a production number?

If so, add it to your garage. Once you check the status, you can right click, and hit “inspect” and pull the actual status code.

There’s a screenshot on my order thread if you’re not sure where to look.
