BMW M4 Sao Paolo Yellow from BMW Ultimate Driving Event (Florida)
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I can say without a doubt that the car looks fine in person. As a current F82 M4cs owner, I had my doubts if I would like the car after seeing it in pics, but in person there are 3D elements of the design that don't photograph well on a 2D picture, particularly the curve/arc of the grill. Sao Paolo Yellow is spot on in these pictures from overcast to sunshine, it's definitely a loud color, but fitting of the loud design. They kept the doors locked, so I couldn't get the best interior photo's with the reflection from the glass, but the seat design on this thing is nice.

Thanks for sharing! To me, it looks like those wheels are similar in color to the "black" 666M wheels where the silver portion has a dark tint clear on them, instead of being a bright silver like the "silver" 666M wheels. Having seen the wheels in person, would you agree?
I like the design of this wheel but I want a true silver option; not something that looks black from most angles.

The color looks so cool. Rear diffuser looks real aggressive especially coming from factory. Thanks for posting.

Horrifically ugly, but now it's been demoted to second ugliest thing ever made by BMW now that the SUV behemoth exists

I remember thinking this when I saw it a track days - the back seems very tall, flat and boxy.
OP (or I guess anyone else) what did you think about the color? Could you own it and drive it everywhere?

If it wasn’t my only car yes. But it would have to also be optioned with the Matching Buckets.

The design still looks unacceptable to me.

I have a red Jeep Cherokee that I could drive for times when I didn't want to be so conspicuous. And I'd absolutely get the matching seats.

Good Lord....BMW has lost its way. It's an outright tragedy what they have done to the front of this car. From the other 3 sides its OK, but it mimics cars that have been out for several years already, most notably the RCF, which looks superior to this.
Only the aftermarket can save this by making a bolt-on, revised front clip. If this design sticks around for more than a year, I can see a 50% take rate on such a product. It might be worth the investment to design one. The wheels are terrible...but not as bad as the 666's I'm ok with the color... and the interior shots that I've seen so far are very nice too. |

Thanks for the pics. You did a nice job capturing the side profile detail. Gives me a bit more hope. Not much, but some.

Nice colour & spec, just not a fan of the lower blacked out sections. Gives the illusion of needing to be lowered badly, not a good look.

Anyone get a UDE $1000 credit from these events this year? I went to the one on Anaheim, CA and never got one. Would have been nice to have if I end up placing an order next year.

I had no idea the UDE was in town until I was leaving the Trop after COVID testing. (It was negative) my wife looked at me when she saw me staring at the driving course and I knew I had no chance of convincing her to pull in.
Had to settle for taking my m340i out for a spirited drive instead. Had I known the G80 was there I might have pushed harder. Oh well.... Thanks for the pics. |

M8 grilles and this car would be very attractive. I just can't get used to these grilles. I have always loved BMW kidney grilles, strange times when they are the one thing I do not like.
