Expensive Sliplo, Acexxon, etc, or.....

I bought these on AliExpress straight from China for about $12 (both boxes, shipping, total 16 strips).

Has anyone had any experience determining if these cheapies are the same, or close enough, to the name brands like Sliplo?

The specs, like thickness of the strips, are the same as standard Sliplo. I did notice that the adhesives have not yet been applied to these.

Any thoughts?

I can help. I have sliplo on my lip, and about half of the pieces have been scraped off. Replacing those with the exact ones you bought - I'll let you know how they feel / compare / etc.

What I don't understand is, why people that are willing to pay $80 grand or more for a premium vehicle, then go ahead and buy absolute cheap ass trash accessories to ruin their car with.

Some of those name brands accessories and straight from AliExpress anyway, why pay someone in the middle?

Not sure you understand what sliplo and the like is. These are sacrificial pieces of plastic/rubber, hidden underneath your lip, invisible when installed. It doesn't matter one whit if they're expensive or cheap - they're designed to get beaten up. As a matter of fact, my "expensive" ones fell off after minimal abuse...

I had the Acexxon protector on my MHC front lip and it took multiple swoosh scrapes through steep driveways. None of the pieces cracked or fell off. I will buy this again for my incoming G82.

Does anyone know if the adhesive with Sliplo type protectors stick well to PPF? My car will be getting PPF applied on Monday - should I have him leave the underside of the lip alone so that I can secure the protectors? Of course, ideally, I'd like both the PPF and the protectors applied. Thanks.

No issues there. 3M adheres to ppf just fine.
