Hmm he did have his car in to Maxton but it’s definitely not the M4 G82 wing linked on Maxtons website or seen a lot in Maxtons IG.

Absolutely in love with that wing. What a find and thank you. Sounds totally custom and unfortunately Carbonelle’s site is having some hosting issues.

No affiliation, just had a moment to help out.

Even though it looks great in pictures, for a rear wing like that, you'll also ideally need accompanying front aero or else the balance is completely thrown off (speaking for function/used on a track, rather than a purely cosmetic item). Adro, for instance has gone to great lengths to show actual CFD data on their AT-R3 wings. We also have other manufacturers we currently work with like APR, Vorsteiner & Akrapovic.

Appreciate that. You work at all with Maxton? I haven’t been on the forums for some months due to work. I’d really like to see a LED wing from Maxton for the G82 similar to what they did on the G87.

We've installed a few customer-provided Maxton front lip spoilers, and the quality and fitment wasn't great. They also had difficulty getting the pieces exchanged/returned.

Maybe things have improved since then or they're different in the wing department, but it's not a line we'll be carrying.

Not many track-dedicated G8X builds yet, but will have photos in near future.
