Indiana Jones and the Holy Grill | Unit17UK CSL vs Vorsteiner -- w/ ACC

Ordering a replacement grill for my G82CX and it's a tough call between these two, I'm sure either would be great. Does anyone have experience or thoughts on quality and appearance between the two?

I'm leaning towards the -- Unit17 CSL Carbon

over the Vorsteiner Carbon

// also wondering if the Vorsteiner black mesh will fit the Unit 17 Grill (not holding my breath on this one...)

Clearly they're both (imho) a massive improvement over stock.

Love the CSL grille, but get rid of the radar, it’s an absolute eye sore

Man I couldn't agree more it's such an ugly brick. Reminds me of how inelegant electronics in general used to be and I know in 20 years that same piece will be 1" of painted over material.

That said, I love ACC lol. I know on a car like the G82 it's non traditional, but as my daily it's awesome. Maybe I'll toss a santa hat on it. Also agreed that CSL grill connects the lines really well. Luckygirls car shows off how good it looks without the ACC

That’s my car in the shot lol I’ve had both grills from unit17 bc I couldn’t make up my mind. The csl goes in with no bolts etc just slips in like OEM. So I loved that about it. Not sure about mesh behind the grill as I didn’t worry about that but maybe I should 😨😨

luckym3girlnj honestly I've had the toughest time deciding. Ordered a CSL version from Unit17 a couple days back, so i guess I decided lol.

CSL
those angled upper lines match up with the hood lines perfectly, this is what weighted me towards it as my preferred option. It looks like it does a great job pulling it all together and it's so unique

OEM horizontal
clean. just really clean and classy look. less sporty/edgy, but it does look damn good. fixes the stock crap for sure, but I don't think it adds as much drama to the car as as the CSL

Grates
wouldn't worry about it tbh, yours looks great. I ordered them and am going to see how it fits and looks with and without. Will post pics showing the difference as able, though I do have ACC so it won't be perf

Yeah there's a bracket it detaches from easily. The bracket has some bolts that look welded into place but you could get it off.

I like the vorsteiner!
If you remove the acc sensor won’t you get an error?

Which one of these grills hides or covers up the foam?
Now that I've seen the foam, I can never unsee it
