Hey guys, apology for this thread! But for the life of me… I can’t figure out what this piece is and where it would go to.
Took the g80 out of the garage for a wash and the wife found this piece on the ground where the car was at. I tried searching it up but nothing. Thank you in advance. |

Looks painted. Is your car the same-ish color?
The pn on the part would be the supplier part and not necessarily a BMW PN. It’s made of polypropylene. Maybe a multi-cavity tool (A3) Also based on the relative area where you parked and where she found it, could provide some insight as to where on the car it might have came from. It’s pretty clean so if you have driven in the rain or have a lot of milage on the car, it probably didn’t come from an area that would be exposed to the elements. It could also have been a sealing cap protecting something inside your engine bay that is disposed of at the factory and finally fell out. Highly doubtful but one never knows. |
