I am Xdrive Comp. Still debating what to do with the Orland Park Dealer. I gave him by build and I am thinking of just putting down the 1K.

At least from this thread it seems. I have a feeling they're keeping separate lists for g80 variation so they're saying you're first in line that way...

We should all meet up when we get our G80s.

Guys, I was on my local dealer's waitlist this time last year (the only one for a G8x, at that time), but they had modest expectation of getting an allocation in time for me to take delivery before my existing lease reached the limit of being extended. So I went out-of-state and lined up Performance Center delivery. The 'new' dealer received an allocation within 2 weeks of me contacting them, order completed production on its allocated week (2 months after order placed), and delivery occurred two months later (despite stop-sale and PCD date constraints).

Moral of the story: expand your geographic search ...

He didn’t give me a exact number but he indicated he hopes to get an allocation by early Sept and I should be able to get a spot. He gave me a 6-9 month timeline again and he said he didn’t want to “over promise” but I still put my name down.

Just talked to bmw of Columbus -OH- they have an allocated comp that can be modified - up for grabs

Just spoke to someone there. Looks like it's for the Jahre edition, which is why they're unable to change it to the 6MT.

Seems like the Jahre editions are pretty easy to come by.
