Had fun the other night in the snow. The car is super controllable with xdrive and the Alpin 5s.

We drove to Milw last Saturday to look at a truck. It was a beautiful day.

And yes, we drove the M3. I drive that rain, shine or snow!

We saw a G80 going in the other direction. It looked like it was LSB, but I thought that color was reserved by BMW?

On the way home we travelled for a bit with an E46 M3, also in a lighter blue. It was a gorgeous car and the exhaust was incredible.

It was a good M3 day!

Nope, this was Saturday and it was definitely an individual color that was very close to LSB.

It was probably Geektechlive, he has Voodoo which is kind of similar.

I drove down to ORD Saturday and drove behind a black G80 for a bit. I waved but I'm not sure he was expecting it.

We should start a Whatsapp group like the other guys do, probably easier for communication.

I could do WhatsApp. Some girls from England made me get it when I was in Cancun a year ago. Haven’t used it since but I’m set up at least.

Does Costco have the good stuff when it comes to gas?

Thanks for posting that little route SW of the city. I’ll probably check it out Saturday or Sunday morning. It’s gotta be better than ripping around the Germantown business park at 8am.

I think Costco uses stuff from major refineries and of all the Costco locations, the Menomonee Falls one seem to have the lowest price on the premium. Ive driven close to 90K miles on my X3 and the majority has been Costco gas and its been great.

Anyone who wants to be in a group PM me their number and I can start one up.

Let me know how you like that route - I would go but I can't do this weekend. Costco is Top Tier - good enough for me. But the lines are always so long that I say F it and go elsewhere.

Im in. I'll PM you. Im with u on those long lines but they move pretty quick. Also, if you go there before 8AM or after 6PM, the lines are usually small.

I did this yesterday morning. My take is that anything east of hwy 67 isn't good. Too many driveways and homes dotting the roads. The western loop is pretty cool though.

I was reminded of how stiff this car is; even on the softest setting.

Thinking of trying out CMG. How long did you have to wait to get your car in and, once in, to get it coated?

It was fairly quick. About 2-3 weeks. Since its winter maybe the wait is short. I got Jan 5th but had to postpone it due to needing my M3 for a while. I dropped it off on Sunday evening and they said it will be ready by thursday but I also wanted to tinted and their tinter isnt available till Thursday so I said, I ill pick it up Friday instead. Doing 35% tinting all around.

To be honest, I am not crazy about CMG. They are always busy doing random cars and dealerships. I recommend Exquisite Auto Spa. Chris the owner is a big enthusiast - they have done work on my car and recently did a brand new CSL.

Thank you for your reply. To be completely transparent, I've used CMG a few times before with absolute great results, communication, on time delivery etc. This time around, I dropped off my CSL on January 13th for PPF, Ceramic Pro, and tinting. They quoted me 7 to 10 days. This coming Friday, it will be 5 weeks with still no firm completion date. So, there are cars being accepted and finished while my car sits. I really like the owners and I can understand that they are busy. But, I feel as though I'm being pushed off and subsequently need to pick up my CSL and try someone else. Again my apologies for my misleading post but I wanted an unbiased reply. Heck, if you stop by there on Friday to pick up your M3 you might see my BSM M4 CSL sitting there!

Thank you for the great lead. As I mentioned in an earlier reply this morning, CMG has 'dropped the ball' on my M4 CSL BSM and it looks like I need to go elsewhere. I will contact Exquisite and check them out. Note: Knowing that Exquisite has already wrapped a CSL is very comforting as well. Thank you again for the lead. Take care.

I had a similar experience with I dropped off my car, it took 2-3 more weeks than I was quoted. I understand they are going through some health problems and are also just *that* busy, but yeah, the customer is the one who suffers in the end. You'll be happy with Chris.

Thanks for the headsup. Im only doing ceramic so Im presuming the turn around is shorter. And since u r doing a full wrap on the PPF, they might be waiting to get it ordered from Xpel and that might be the reason for the delay. I would contact the owner and ask them straight up where the delay is at and might give u a better idea where they stand. I contacted Exquisite Spas via their email and didnt get any reply and its been over a month now. Their phones are unanswered. It would have been much closer to use them instead of CMG but the lack of communication threw me off and went with a trusted name. I am doing my drive rocker panel (didnt have time to finish it at PCD and had to leave early) and hoping they have it ordered already but who know if my car will be ready or not. Will see and will keep u posted. Also just dropped off my 827M wheels for custom powder coating at Alloy Wheels Repair in Greenfield today. Hope to get them sometime next week. Hoping for the weather to cooperate so we can all get to meet up soon

Had a great discussion with CMG this afternoon! I think we have a game plan in place to keep everyone happy. CMG does have their hands full. And, they are battling through some health issues that they are not using as an excuse. Bottom line, I think they're good people and, you're right, communication was the key!

Congrats. I was coming in to post that I got an email from yousef that my car is scheduled for pick up Friday. The ceramic is done and the tinter will be coming tomorrow (hopefully the snow storm doesnt delays my plans). Planning on picking it up as scheduled. Hope yours gets done sooner too. Might be one of the first CSL in Milwaukee
