I feel like if MB hadn’t go the route of the stupid all screen dash bs, perhaps BMW wouldn’t have done it. I can’t stand the new screen dash design. 🤮

So the C63 ever so slightly faster? I didn't think they would overcome all that weight. Still an abomination though.

I'd rather walk than drive the Benz - all sorts of wrong for my taste - can you tell I'm biased? That's right, gimme an RS6 Performance over the Benz any day of the week (I know, I know, I should be comparing these with the RS4: C63 & RS4 pushed aside - given we probably won't get the M5 Touring Down Under, that leaves the RS6P)

No way. Something about this comparison seems off. Almost every other video I’ve seen, the M3T has shown to be faster than the C63S even in sedan form, and definitely faster than the times in this video. Can’t imagine the Merc outpacing the M in wagon form 🤔

It’s hard to believe that even with the idiotic “dash” the BMW has…it still looks better than the “gaudy nightclub” interior of the Mercedes. But yep…both are bad. The BMW is more 🤢 and the Merc is 🤮

Is that what nightclub lights look like? Ha3. I thought it was Star Trek-y. And way too much chrome for my test. The BMW is classier IMO. Are all these electronics disposable? I wonder what would happen 8-10-15 yrs later.

M5 Touring is definitely coming down under. Our M3 touring demand is off the charts, dealers are already sounding out for M3 CS Touring lists and M5 demand has always been strong. Combine these with high profit margins on Aus cars and it’s a no brainer. It’s hard to think of a single M car that hasn’t made it to these shores in the last two decades.

That 4-cylinder in the Benz is a complete let down & surprised it's a touch quicker when the battery isn't all spent up.

I don't know why Americans insist on having crazy measurement systems which only a drunken sailor could have come up with
Things didn't change in the 21st C.; hopefully they will in the 22nd

Mmm. I can’t quite imagine that one happening. But who knows? I’m still not sold on electrification and even hybrids. I’m going to wait out throwing the big bucks around until they’ve convinced me they’ve got it right. That could be a generation away - or maybe never! I was just saying to my wife as we whizzed around the English countryside this afternoon in a manual golf and saw a Taycan drive by - ‘I get a lot more joy driving this!’

The exhaust on the MB is head and shoulders above the BMW. Beyond that I give it to the BMW. Given options I'd like seeing the head to head with RS6, which IMO is just amazingly beautiful in person.
