Can anyone that's seen it verify if this is the new Isle of Man colour under than camo? Looks darker than described. Similar to the Ford Mustang Bullitt.

Amazing how much removing the frame on the grill opening changes the look...

I approve of the "floating" horizontal front grills.

I don't remember the last time a M car came out and it was so hard to digest. My opinion about this new M3/M4 has not changed one bit. Side and rear is meh and the front is just hideous. I'm sure performance wise it will destroy most cars in its class so people will still buy/lease them.

The hood unfortunately reminds me of an '11 Charger... with the hood lines brought forward. I can't unsee it. Doesn't help the power dome is gone too.
As bad as the grilles are, the M4 ductwork below them makes them a little bit more palatable - way better than the smiling vents underneath the grille on the standard 4 series. And it helps the grilles are clearly separated here vs. the 4er. I really think the headlights throw off the whole front end design. They do not work well and are disproportionate/not aggressive so the entire front end looks more of a "stately/luxury" car rather than the M division designs we are used to. Looking forward to the driving dynamics though.

The M3/M4 grill is not simply a 4 Series grill without the frame. It is a completely distinct shape and size, with the two halves definitively separated rather than "siamese'd" together like they are on not just the 4 Series but on all other new BMW models.

Side profile has a cross between RS5 and AMG C63 coupe feel to it, maybe its the silhouette of the C pillar, and the non-existent Hofmeister Kink
Rear 3 quarters look damn amazing with those exhausts though! |

Well done BMW, you've made racing car look ugly, is it just me or it looks like old 6 headlamp Alfa from the front and new Guilia from behind, I'm loosing my mind here,

Thanks mkoesel, The grill / bumper / hood treatment for certain seperates the G22 and the G82 from each other in an instant

Looks to be a deep green, very "Mustang Bullet" Looks like there are body color slats on top of floating grill lines ?

Front of the car is horrendous. BMW what were you thinking approving such an ugly design. So sorry the racing department had to work around such a bad looking vehicle. There is only so much they could do here.

I really like how they did the front grille on the GT3 car.
Unfortunately, the G82 GT3 looks huge like the previous M6 and M8. |
