Winter is coming and so are new winter tires
Hi guys, G82 x drive here, I'm having a rough time finding tires for winter. Everything is either sold out or unavailable.
I managed to find some Michelins for a decent price but they vary slightly in specs so I was gonna ask for some clarifications here. Stock summer tire specs on my car are: 285/30/20 rears and 275/35/19 fronts. Michelin Pilot Alpin P4 only come in 285/35/20 and 275/40/19, which means slightly higher side walls. Would that be alright on my stock rims? I'm worried about fender rubbing and x-drive going nuts. |

They're 1.1" taller in the front and 1.2" in the back taller than the stock tires so you'll probably be rubbing more, even the stock tires rub for me when i go over certain dips on the highway.
The difference between front and back is 0.7% so xdrive should be fine This is the best i could find for stock winter tire sizes https://www.quattrotires.com/dimensi...nter/275/35/19 https://www.quattrotires.com/dimensi...nter/285/30/20 Also try https://www.talontire.com/search/types/winter

Expand your horizons. There are better tires out there than Michelins.
