So finally had the time to go the dragstrip with a friend, he ran with his new M340i, we didn't had a chance to run together, but I got a recording of both.



M4 is the 113 on the right side. Well the car is stock. I ran a few times trying to use the Launch Control, but sometimes it engages, sometimes just rev the hell out to 7000 RPM. With the LC my best was 13.1s, so I decided to launch myself for the last pass and got that 12.45.

Not bad I should say. With the Supra my best time was 12.8 at 112 mph when stock, then with bootmod3 and E30 tune, the best time was 11.6s at 125 mph. So I wonder, this M4 with a proper E50 tune must be in the high 10s for sure!

The M340i is fast as hell, make sense to be in the 12.4s as well, considering the weight difference with the Supra, they are on par, same engine almost.

The M4 with a better driver should be able to get 12 flat I suppose.

This is my stock 2020 M340iX, they can get up and go. The top end is where the S58 will destroy the M340i because the M3/M4 has to launch in 2nd gear. When the xDrive M3/M4 comes out my stock M340iX will not be anywhere near them.
