Sounds like a safe way to make a little extra power
With any tune everyone fear is engine failure but read and saw videos of ppl saying this engine runs at such a low compression it could make like 800hp on stock internals so I would assume this is nothing for the S58

When will it be available for purchase??

And a 1 sec improvement with the Euro car is a nice advancement.

I also ran the RC on my F90 and moved it (reprogrammed) to my M8 GC Comp and the cars ran and run great gain 2-3 tenths in the quarter and 3-4 mph in the trap speeds (others have posted draggys). I like to call it the "plug and play and walk away mod" as its more basic than what a JB4 can do for those mod junkies who like to play with better fuels and heavy duty hardware mods. But for me it serves a good bang for the buck mod that can be reversible to avoid "visual" detection.
I run the GTS black on my X5M and am also plenty satisfied with the "plug and go".

This will be back on my list once I get my G80.

But, if you are worry, it is easily reverted to stock by using the bypass plug or remove completely (which is a little more involving).
Can you elaborate on how it is connected to the sensors and how hard it is to get to them?

I will post some pictures once everything is ready.
Boost sensor is the hardest.
Other 2 are super easy.

Awesome. I just noticed the notes had ROZ 102+ octane booster. Also, would US spec without OPF make more power?

Usually is since it has less restriction.

So its been about 2 weeks now with the Euro box version and I am pleased. I still dont have hard numbers but you can see what the RC guys did. What I do often is take my car up and down a nice open 3 mile stretch on map 7 and rip the fucking shit out of it. Then I do the same thing with map 0- no brainer here as there are definite butt gains.

I was a bit worried that the wonderful RWD launch that the G8X has could be compromised with the tq bump but I have been testing it often and its still got that great grip (slight wheelspin) from a dig. You can see in the dyno charts how the tq is still creeping until it hits 3k rpms (albeit a higher starting point) which keeps the car planted better. I usually drive the car in all the sport plus settings (except the dampers), drivelogic in 3 bars, and MDM for chassis stability.

Again these are my anecdotal findings thus far. But for those of you who like to equate gains per hp to dollars spent --- just get the damn thing unless you are into the heavier modding.

While this is not a fault of the RC; the G8X does pose a slight bit more intricate process in install and remove vs my prior F90 M5 and current F93 M8GC. But thats why I have my bitch r33_RGSport to uninstall and reinstall

This might be the best review so far.

How long did the install process take according to your "assistant"?

Ha---- he is actually the retailer here as well (Im sure you knew)... Since my car was the first one he had ever tackled, it would not be fair to list that time since it was more of a discovery process. My best guess now is that B and C sections will take 2-4 min each and the boost sensor section (A) would take about 15 min.

I would say I can do them in 30 minutes or less by now.
Airbox and coolant hose bracket removal should help accessing it much better.

I was trying to do it with less removal.
But, "more is less" is the key here. More removal, less time spent in doing the job.
