Where'd you get that number?

I like the way it sounds, reminds me of an old s52 e36.

Just seems like a lot for just a mid pipe it’s not even the full exhaust. I had a 15 mustang gt had a full 3 inch exhaust from Corsa for 1400$ even kook headers are around 1400. It’s literally a mid pipe only

So just because it’s a bmw you think an exhaust should be triple ? Lol so a down pipe should also be 1600?

Sounds like you’ve never run a business.

It’s a lot most cost effective to manufacture something and sell it at lower margin relative to the target audience for something and sell it to 10,000 than it is to create something and sell it to 500 people.

Yeah but they were able to sell a shitload of those...I sat at a light today with 3 different coyote's pipe'd up

When's the last time you had 3 m4's at the same intersection with full exhaust aside from a rally

Way fewer of our cars to sell too

They have to pay for the r&d

Small batch orders cost more in materials

And just generally need to make it worth while to even mess with these cars

It's just supply and demand. On my F82 I was able to buy a VRSF single mid pipe for $600 shipped. Once more companies roll out with more supply these ridiculous prices will tank. No one should be paying $1600 for stainless steel piping, let alone just a mid pipe.

Where is the R&D for this midpipe? Not starting shit , I'm just curious on what you think they are researching. It looks to me the connected the pipes with 1 set of flanges and 2 Clamps?

Get the angles right for the downpipes

Pull it in and out

Get everything lined up well

Make sure it's not binding or rattling anywhere

Then they jig it all

Granted one guy could get it perfect in about a week.

The major cost in my opinion is how few they're even going to sell of these.
