Ok so just so I'm clear here.

LBbluem2 has: secondary cats and only rear res replaced with X-pipe (front res still present)

AND

David92 : is straight pipe through with both res removed?

Do we know which one sounds better? I'm getting this done tomorrow and I don't know which way to go. Apparantely X-pipe is the way to go for european vehicles as the sound is more fitting however I gotta say David92 's car sounds deeper?

Please for the sake of experimenting lol:

Do the secondary cat delete and leave the resonator at the very back.

The final resonator is a resonated x pipe and I get the feeling doing that will make the best possible sound for cheap.

So cat delete and first resonator out.

Do whatever you want but I'll bet it sounds epic with that combo.

Yeah maybe you're right. You both did it different ways, if I try this we will have 3 ways, once we have 6 ways we should have a decision

If it's not loud enough I can always go back and delete the 2nd res and replace it with straights or an X.

Will update after! I feel I am going to get swayed at the shop once they chime in with their opinions.

I'm not exactly doing an H pipe right though. Center section is supposed to be 2/3 the size of the main exhaust pipes. However, I'm going to use the same diameter pipe as I really didn't feel like ordering any more material. Hopefully it still sounds good.

I thought by reading your thread you said "So I pulled both (post cats) and there is definitely a decibel or loudness gain."
Are you saying those vids are just the resonators removed and both secondary cats are still there?? That was pretty loud, i was convinced that was cats and res removed with straight pipes just like David92
Reading it again, I can see you likely meant you pulled both res..post cats..

Yes, when I said "both" that was the two resonator suitcases. All my cats are intact.

Praise god, because I am scheduled to have both res removed and x pipe added based on your videos and then for a second I thought I was going into uncharted territory.

I'm in the same boat..

I'm sure I could find a place in Santa Ana but idk if I want that kind of place working on my car.

One thing I'm sure of is I now want more volume.
