Have you considered emailing/tweeting your MPP and Doug Ford to let them know your thoughts on this? I do every couple years or whenever I read an article about the government considering this.... The Ford government actually debated this in spring of 2019, but the police forces raised a stink, claiming they will lose "half the opportunities to be able to identify people involved in crime." Weird how the other provinces that have ditched the front plate haven't fallen into lawlessness.....

AB got rid of the front plate in 1992, and still has no provincial sales tax. They also allow more automated photo radar than BC (I got lots of experience with that in AB during my foolish youth). No idea about other jurisdictions. In any case, there is no way I’m allowing a plate holder to be drilled into my front bumper again. I’ll probably get a rho-plate unless I need to be concerned about water etc getting into the tow hook location.

I'm with you I got RHO plate. Looks solid on my g82 but obviously not as good as no plate

Anyone try specifying Michelin tires on their order? The Pirellis apparently suck in the wet, and I’m not willing to use them here in lower mainland BC. Pirelli Sottozeros are great in the winter, though.

its luck of draw of what they are using on the assembly line that day. Looking back, perhaps better to spec track tire option as that's guaranteed PSC2, if your lean was to order a set of PS4S at some point anyways.

Wet/damp/cold performance is subpar with the PZ4 in my experience so far, which has been majority of days in Toronto until this week...Plan now is to run these down and replace with PS4S asap, although do need to hold onto these star marked OEM Pirelli for lease return.

I got Pirelli’s as well. I haven’t driven much but they feel pretty decent as of yet. I didn’t order the car but if I did I would’ve opted for the Cup 2’s.
