Yea it happened…. I also managed to get a screw stuck in the other tire (on same side)but its in a spot where it doesn't roll over it nor is it leaking…but i did get the wheel and tire warranty and the tire theyll swap out but the wheel id need to figure it out….how much do u guys think this will cost to repair?

Wouldn't the wheel and tire warranty cover the curb rash as well?

$200 or so should get the wheel repainted I'd say.

I think you'll need a new tire too. I wouldn't repair it that close to side wall. I doubt they would anyway but just in case they try patch it, don't let them

I emailed bmw and they said curb rash isnt covered for the wheel and that it only is when its cracked or bent. The tire they said shouldnt he a problem at all. Taken it in tomorrow. 🤞🏼

Just an update on my first world problems and what i went through…..needed to vent….long story short…i waited 3.5 hours for bmw to change my tire, i walk up to it and its the wrong f'ing tire. He put pilot super sports on which used to be great tires but i had ps4s tires and imo its far superior in all conditions….so then he rants on about how sorry he is and how the super sport tire is its substitute yadayadayada….then hes like he won't be able to place the order for the tire until 2 weeks from now and said i can ask around if my original dealership or any others might have one….im like oh….evidently now i work for bmw….soooo yea….just needed to vent and tomorrow….i surely will be doing f'in Kenneths job at bmw.

Had the same experience in NJ, where I they installed a Cup 2 instead of the PS4S stars.....
