Fuse box in engine bay?

I recently purchased a retractable license plate for the front of the car. It needs to tap into a fuse (or battery but I know battery is in the trunk). I can find the fuse diagrams for the car, but I can't seem to find the actual location for the different fuse boxes. Are they all within the car, none in the engine bay?
