What else for OEM+ look?

My SSG/Fiona G80 6spd arrives in a week or two. I’ve got the following ready for install:

Eibach front springs (-20mm)
MS Spacers 12mm/12mm
IND Painted Reflectors
CF Inlet Vents

Will do CDV delete, ceramic coat, and tint windows to 30%.

Considering iSweep, CarbonTech, or StopTech brake pads.

What else would add nice touches for an OEM+ approach?

I'm a fan of the OEM plus look, and you've outlined several of the mods I've done. I have Eibach front springs, 15/13 spacers, Stradale design side skirts, MHC carbon side covers, TLG mud flaps, and iSweep carbon brake pads in my garage to be installed. I also have 35% ceramic tint on the windows. The only other mod that I'm thinking of adding is midpipe to boost the exhaust sound just a little bit and maybe the CDV delete though I've gotten quite used to the feel of the 6MT at this point.

Looks great! Maybe get painted side reflectors too.

You only did front springs? I saw your car in the suspension forum and I thought you did the front and rear for the g82.

Pretty much it.

1. IND painted front reflectors with the rear reflectors blacked out.
2. 12mm spacers front/rear (will get some rubbing in reverse at full lock with stock Pirelli tires.
3. Lowered ( I chose MPHAS but same idea regardless of route.
4. Motorsport+ Yellow CSL DRL
5. Front lip. I chose the MPerformance carbon lip.
6. Window tint

Above will give you a pretty nice OEM+ look

Nope, that's the front only, which Eibach sells. It's just enough to make the front gap look right. Ideally I might drop the rear about a half inch, but it wasn't worth it to me and I absolutely didn't want to affect ride quality. I've read that it's more the rear suspension than the front that has left a few G8X owners unhappy, so I figured I wouldn't touch it.

Turner front carbon lip. Simple and not overdone. Honestly don’t care for the OEM perfomance lip.

Nice, does this require any drilling or mounts to OEM spots?

Mounts to OEM. All hardware included. Center of bumper is predrilled if I remember correctly but I used 3M. No need to drill front center bumper. Holds well enough without.

Cool. Thank you. Did you have to jack the car up or enough access with it on the ground?

That lip is beautiful 😍 I've been trying to figure out what to get. Any other pics?

I used the lip of my garage for the extra space. Gave an extra 2” and did the lip myself with the help of a handy empty box for the lip to rest on.

Thanks! After you post, I read that thread start to finish. I wanted to see pics of the turner lip without a drop and you car did it for me. Ordering.

You’ll love it. 👍🏻 It gives your car a more lowered look which I like, because I’m not lowering. At least not any time soon.

Just curious... By looking at the front tire and the tire track in the sand, it looks like the car was backed into its current position.
Question: Where is the corresponding track for the rear tire? Was it photoshopped? Like I said, just curious... so I had to ask!

Zoom closely. I see a tire track for the rear.

No, not photoshopped but yes, I backed in to the sand as was pointed out above. That's the sandy spot right at the entrance to the beach access, so it is mostly blacktop there with some hard packed wet sand. I wasn't about to actually go off-roading in my M4, but I eased into that spot on a quiet and cold morning when the place was practically empty. Thought it made a nice spot for a photo.

Edit: Here's another picture from a different angle at basically the same spot.

My Turner lip comes in a few days - I too, am staying stock height. Do you have any issues with scrapping the turner lip?

I ended up getting a gloss black eBay replica m performance lip.

Still trying to figure out which brake pads to get. Looking for best combination of stopping ability and low dust.

I have not scrapped yet and I’ve been in some places that could have been iffy. The biggest thing that I try to pay attention to now is parking and curbs. Last thing I want to do is pull up to far and destroy the front.
