Dealer needs me to place my order asap, really want the seats but don't want to commit until seeing them in person.

Main concern is my wife will hate them and won't want to ride in the car.

I'll come to you and bring beer/lunch for your trouble.

Unfortunately no dealers have a car with the buckets in stock.

I'd just add them anyway. Worst case scenario is if you do not like them you can trade someone for regular sport seats and some extra money - see this thread for info. The carbon buckets are going for insane prices right now.
