i didnt see this out there. hahahaha. but...you would never know that there was a inventory shortage of M cars by riding around the Performance Center. they were EVERYWHERE!!! a ton in various states of delivery and whatnot. and then, of course, the vehicles that they use for the guests to drive.

we got to drive the M4CX with the CF buckets. 2 impressions.....good LORD is it quick and there is no way i could live with those buckets.

Can't wait to drive their M4Cx in anger and find out for myself. My husband doesn't know yet how fast these things are (he assumes they aren't slow, given our tuned M235i xDrive was as fast at it was). Better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission, no?

And those carbon fiber seats? At my age, they're better to visit than to live with (and yes, I can't wait to try them on for size, especially after losing some inches off my waistline).

As I wait patiently for my PCD date with a stop sale (week 41 build) to be released from the VPC, at least I can download the owners manual.

Still waiting also (week 39). Got to the VPC on 11/5.

Looks like only roughly 70 BMWs have been delivered to the VPC in the last two months. Given the time it takes to add the RAM (not long), plus the relatively low number of incomings at this VPC, my guess is they are out of parts.

I notified my CA within minutes of seeing my case close on Alex Bond’s tool. I’m assuming it’ll be next Monday before the delivery scheduler reaches out to her with dates.

Then the ball’s in my court to coordinate schedule with Extreme Colors (PPF), check flights/airfares, finesse the household calendar, and make kennel reservations. I’m ready! Oh, am I ready!!

Our cars were 2 of 37 to make the same journey (Olympian Highway to Charleston on November 2), so it may be fair to assume several others are for PCD (distinct from Spartanburg employees’ cars, or such). I’ll PM you with whatever dates I’m offered, as well as the date I ultimately choose.

Well, it's going to be a bit longer for me. I just talked to my SA after the VPC called them. There is minor damage to my rear bumper (a scratch that's quite visible from what they said). Since I'm a frozen paint, it can't be repaired. They need a new bumper painted and brought in from Germany.

ETA for the bumper: Dec 8

Oh man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully there won't be any major delays for the new bumper and everything matches up in the end.

Me too! I can’t help but wonder if it was scratched putting in the RAM

It's official: I take delivery Wednesday, December 8, at the Performance Center!

The RAM stop sale closed midday yesterday, and I notified my CA as soon as I saw the status update on Alex Bond's tool. After another forum member got his delivery date (allegedly the last one available in December), I alerted my CA of potentially skipping PCD due to concerns of driving home to Michigan in January on summer tires.

The dealer team swung into action today and delivered!!! With the help of their region, they secured me a slot for December. Travel is already booked; now the final countdown begins!!

You are my twin! I pick up my Voodoo Blue on the 13th next month at PCD. Only difference is I went Tartufo interior.

I think I may be the only superman combo of voodoo blue and Fiona red right now in the US.
You are gonna love voodoo. It's even more awesome in person. It's really hard to take a photo of it that represents the actual color perfectly.
As my sales guys said to me when I was taking delivery…. "You definitely were not going for 'subtle'."

I doubt that seriously. TPMS is federal law. It is required.
