Yesterday I was at the grocery store and I literally didn’t get ten feet away from my car, and a father and son had moved in and were taking pictures in front of it… they didn’t say a word to me, kid was making like a rapper in front of the logo on the grill.

I turned around and stopped for a bit to look at them and was in my head quickly going towards something like hey, hey can you at least wait till I get inside before you instagram with my car?

But, I could feel the vibe of the dad… don’t be a dick man, let me have this moment.
I think he knew what I was thinking, at the very least he knew I was looking at him cockeyed, but he just kept on with the photo shoot.

The only thing that was strange is usually people will say something like nice car or whatever, but this was a bit different.

It was more along the lines of, since you parked it here it’s ours for now.

So, I left them to their insta. I guess technically they are right. This is why I bought ppf. I don’t worry about it anymore.

One year in and it's still a daily finger pointing thumbs up and parking lot comments and cars speeding up to take pics. In town I see a dozen C8 per day, the G8X is a rare car in these parts....until today at intersection there was another Skyscraper Grey M4 with tint next to me. It had 826M, I believe, and mine are 825. Awkward. I turned left early, ha.
Oh, one not so positive feedback I get from friends is "why do your brakes squeak so much" because they know the reason and they know I'm feathering the pedal or have done some hard stops before their house.

Just this Sunday had a dude in a convertible Buick fist pumping me on I95 and an another 20s kid gesture me to slow down so he could take a video or picture while going 80 plus. Ha ha, interesting Sunday drive
