People were reporting in a different thread last month that they moved 5 spots in a month and got an allocation with this dealer. Maybe several members flocked to that dealership after that?
I spoke to a SA from this dealership early this month. He was asking for $4500 deposit and wasnt even motivated to work with me. |

My dealer got one m4 allocation today which I passed on. One interesting thing they told me is they aren't expecting anymore m3/4 allocation till June per bmw. Not sure how true this is

BMW San Antonio has no wait list for M4 and is selling at MSRP. Just FYI for those of you looking for an M4. I am number 4 on the M3 allocation waitlist. They received only one allocation this month for M3.

Currently waiting for an M3 Comp. Just put my order/deposit in a few days ago.
No allocation yet, but my dealership says I'm first in line to receive one. |

Even with few allocations, the list can move quickly. I was number 7 2 weeks ago. They got 1 allocation and 2 others dropped off..so now i am number 4. My M340 lease is not up until September so i can be patient

Depends. Bill Jacobs takes 'non-refundable' deposits that go toward the car price at delivery, so unless people are willing to dispute that I doubt anyone is dropping out of this dealer's list

For what it’s worth, I had a deposit down with Bill Jacobs last April for a car they never came through on. Got my deposit back no questions and went with a different dealer.

I wonder if each dealership handles their waitlists differently. I believe BMW awards allocations separately for RWD vs AWD for both G80 and G82 (or maybe it's comp vs base model allocations). But I also thought a dealer could easily switch one G80 allocation for another, for example.
I guess I'm just wondering if some dealerships just maintain separate waitlists for M3 and M4 and other dealerships maintain separate waitlists for M3 RWD, M3 AWD, M4 RWD, M4 AWD |

Same. I would be 18th on the waitlist vs 1st if it wasnt for them keeping it separate
