Yeah, but I'd much rather be waiting for them to manufacture my stop sale part(s) while making progress on a month-long, transoceanic ship ride to California than being stuck at the factory.

There are a couple posts in week 50 where the tracker went through the assembly line into paint today. The factory being closed is a rumor.

I found something weird this morning. I typed my VIN into mdecoder this morning to see what it says about my car and the options and it says I have a manual transmission. Not sure if thats just a glitch or what not but I definitely didn’t order that. Anyways stuck in QC since 11/4. Prod date 10/29

Week 49 G82 here in QC for 14 days. Just got to awaiting carrier assignment. I have every option including individual paint. I'm in SoCal along with my dealership. None of this process makes sense as to why I'm leap frogging week 43+ people who are still waiting.

Are your stops sales still open?

I just wonder if it is a parking space issue now. IE is there more room in the west coast VPC vs east coast so they prioritized your M4 over others. I know, I know, just grasping at straws here since this irritates the ish outta me.

guys has anyone seen any movement??? qc since 11/11. No updates from CA and I actually contacted corporate BMW support here in Germany and after 3 days of them "investigating the situation" the representative wrote to me in an email " There is a block on your car thats preventing it from being released from the factory, I have been informed that the block has been set because the production plant is probably at capacity or has to wait for some related documents"
Thats the most bullshit answer I've heard ...

Apparently my m440cv is a manual as well. However as i read through the option codes it shows automatic transmission as a listed option. Seems odd, but normal i guess.

I have been in QC since 11/8. There are several posts of cars that were built well after my car and have entered and left QC already. There are also others that are stuck like me. I just don’t get it. I would hope they take cars in order but that is obviously not the case. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed. And to be kept in the dark without a word from BMW is not acceptable. They need to get their shit together already as I’m sure it’s not just me that is losing patience. I know there are parts shortages but to see others move past my car without an explanation makes things worse.

100% man, it is completely unacceptable, I'm in QC since 11/11 I know for a fact there are a few people from my dealership that already received their cars and they were build week 47 48 and 49 ( i'm in Germany so transport is about a week) and those cars had all the bells and whistles like mine that require that stupid RAM or CID or whatever else. I would be okay if from lets say weeek 43+ or whenever it started ALL the cars were waiting for chips, that'd make sense if there's really a shortage. But how are some cars getting through and having all the parts installed and some are just sitting and waiting... it should all be done in order.

It just does not make sense with a company like BMW. There is no other way to describe what is happening then a complete cluster. It appears they are working on the closet vehicle to a box of parts rather then in order. How can a company like BMW be running this way? The cars should be stacked by build week and completed in order. Seems simple. Anyone on here work for BMW? I have a great idea; hire me and I will implement this genius plan. I am confident I can boost productivity and customer morale.

Maybe if we all email BMW HQ with our displeasure they will communicate better. I am pissed just like the rest of you guys. Stuck in qc for my g83 for 4 weeks. I wonder if I would of been week 49 and up would I get it before my week 47 build. I'm in the process to see if a find a similar build to mine to just buy off the lot but can't find anything. I'm also considering other brands.

That's the strange part. Some of you guys are still stuck. Mine is fully loaded (DAP, Ceramics, Buckets, Executive). U.S car.

Only think I don't have because it wasn't an option is the hotspot. I wonder if that's causing your delays .
