Well, now the dealership says they can't get a transport. It was supposed to arrive yesterday and I was to take delivery today. This process takes a lot of patience.

My car has been at the port for over a week supposedly already handed off to the shipping carrier. I keep hearing from my SA it will arrive any day. As of this morning it is still listed "At the Port." I am convinced they have no idea, and they have no way of finding out. This process definitely does take a lot of patience.

For what it's worth, when I was at the dealer last Friday signing the paperwork for my order, my SA was on the phone with a customer about their vehicle and it arriving from the port. The SA was told it would be a few days but he didn't have a firm date, and literally 15 minutes later one of the service guys came up and handed him a set of keys and it was the vehicle in question. Showed up out of nowhere.

So it sounds like the transportation/trucking stuff is pretty chaotic given how backed up stuff is at the port (I'm sure covid isn't helping either). No one has a clue what car is where so maybe yours will show up unannounced too

Called Genius at 10:30 am CST today.
M3 released to carrier on 1/21 after 4 weeks sitting in Galveston with the recall on the RAM like everyone.
Was supposed to be at the dealership on 1/24
Due to transportations issues, new ETA is anytime…. Uffffffff

My dealer called me. They just received the car. Will grab it in the morning. What a ride this has been. I am canceling my Lotus Emira order. I don't want to do this all over again. I have heard nothing from Lotus. I get crickets on my emails. They have no clue what is going on.

It's instant. I got a call from the dealer stating my car left port 15 minutes ago. I went on the bmw usa website and it showed intransit. Just an hour before I got the call jt was still showing at the port. If you have a carrier assignment it could be any minute when the truck driver picks it up. It's definitely a pain I've waited since July!

No idea. Was told drivers got covid but seeing Woodlands get delivery is honestly upsetting so venting. Not the dealerships fault I believe.

That's rough man, sorry! Hopefully they figure it out soon, an entire month trying to find a truck is ridiculous

12/26 to 1/20 was clearing recalls. Was released to carrier on 1/21, shouldve been delivered 1/24. If you look back to page 9 the parking lot storage has ships ported in back ground

Picked up the car last night, and mine had Michelins. I suppose I won the tire lottery. However, I was getting to a point that I didn't care what tires came on the car. I just wanted the car haha.
