Anyone install this yet? I'm having difficulty with mine. I had these on all of my other BMW's but I don't know where this ones go's or how to access where it should go.

Yes it's very easy, just look at where the clutch pedal arm contacts against the wall, there is a little white rubber nub, pull it out and insert the clutch stop in the same hole. No other parts need to be removed to do it.

I believe I need to take one of the foam spacers off. My auto rev match on manual is hit or miss now. Anyone else have this ? It is installed all the way in on mine.

Why would you blipping the throttle impact how many rings is on your clutch stop? I am about to install mine and was going to do all rings (as I have always done).

Wow...night and day. Idk why I waited 10 days to do this, especially since the clutch stop was ordered months before the car arrived.

After 3 weeks with clutch stop the bottom washer simply peeled off. I guess the glue didn't hold well enough. I glued it back on with some Rhino glue, but surprised it happened at all.

I just installed yesterday and am having the same issue with auto rev match as well. Did you find a solution by chance since your post? I think I have it all the way "IN".

I was about to install mine but you guys are saying it won't auto rev match now? If that's the case I don't want a $10 part ruining my clutch for some mm of convenience.

Yeah... That is a fair thought. I can tell you, I do like the improvement to the feel... But the rev match seems spiritic at best at the moment. I will give it a few more days I suppose.

Not worth the bucking while downshifting aggressively, let me know if things change. I'm not gonna install it now lol

I wonder why the discrepancy of experience reported in this thread?

frankiebones do you by chance drive with rev match off all times? Thinking mine might be coming back out this afternoon. At the very least, ensuring it is indeed in all the way.

Mechanically speaking the auto rev match should happen when the car detects the clutch is disengaged and the shifter is in a lower gear. The only thing I can think of is the car doesn't think the clutch is fully disengaged (maybe because the distance is decreased due to clutch stop) and then the auto rev match doesn't happen. Either way this is unacceptable and an easy way to mess up expensive components.

Maybe this could be fixed by taking off some of the plastic rings but is it worth the risk after thousands of miles to save 10mm of travel?

Do you have the BMS plug? I'm wondering if mine isn't fully seated. I have applied pretty forceful pressure, and drove this morning roughly 30 miles- it surely is in place, wouldn't one think?
