No, MSRP. Not sure if it matters, but I've bought two cars from them in the last two years and have another (i4 M50) on order with them.

Haha, nice to see someone familiar with JMU. Wish I could help you out with the M3, but those allocations are harder to come by.

Received Production Number after approx. 4 months. Awaiting Production Start Date. Originally this major dealer in AZ told me they did not receive any allocations for Jan/Feb but was hoping that'd pick back up March-April. No idea how I fit in there but I went from 4th in line to getting allocation in about 2 weeks. Hopefully this helps anyone looking around! Seems like maybe a little surge in allocations? |

I also spoke with BMWFS a couple to weeks back since my 6-month extension is expiring in March. I was told they will extend my current f80 lease for another year but at a slightly different rate and to call back in March. |

That's a dangerous assumption. My car has been been in quality hold since November (August allocation) and they don't know when they will have touch screens in to release it. I would be ready for a fall delivery.

My build is a pretty basic one and i am in no hurry to take delivery. My previous comment was just a reply with i heard from the dealer. |

Several semi suppliers have started issuing more favorable ship dates to their (particularly automotive) customers, and I suspect this translates into a slight increase in available allocations for us. For people whose cars got built and entered QC hell, that is kind of a worst case scenario because these cars will likely be the most difficult (logistically) to retrofit because those systems and processes didn't previously exist on a large scale. So, while hysteresis is indeed a thing, there is no way to predict that everyone's car will be held up for months after being built simply because that was the norm in the second half of 2021. |

After my SA (Reza at Bellevue BMW) emailed with order number, I said "hopefully there are no parts shortages, etc", and his reply was "Once we get the allocation, it means BMW has all the parts they need to build your car."
FWIW. |
