Unbelievable to me that only the Russians know how to do this. Russia is hardly a large BMW market place. No one in the US, UK or Germany can figure it out? Amazing...

A little less than that but it was not cheap, hence why a few other shops are charging 5-6k.

I thought the only way to currently fully tune these vehicles was by sending out your DME to Russia to be unlocked & sent back to be tuned? When they do that do you then have 2 DMEs or is that just unlocking your factory DME? A little confused by the whole process. |

OTA/dealership update will completely remove unlock, it's not permanent, as any other unlock made for previous model years cars. OTA updates can be easily disabled via iDrive menu. |
